Pre Kindy – Kindy

Pre Kindy children, from 3 years old, may attend the second of our Pre Kindy options, alongside Kindy aged children (up to 5 years old). The three and five years old children, are catered for in our Pre Kindy | Kindy house. Children of this age group develop their self-awareness of intentional actions and understanding others’ goal-related actions. They also develop their abilities to monitor their own goals leading to collaboration and cooperation with others (Hughes and Ensor, 2006)

Curriculum

Children in the PreKindy | Kindy house experience a balance of learning academic concepts and self-regulation skills. These are gained through being given the opportunity to make decisions in their play to engage in provocations, intentional teaching and experience to practice and master skills in the play-based environment.
